Reads the room. You make the call.
ModCheck reads every message in the context of your stream, then hands you a verdict with its reasoning. What happens next is your call, not the bot's.
You decide what happens
AI that times people out on its own is how regulars get burned and chat goes quiet. ModCheck's default is the opposite. Every judge starts in flag-for-review: the verdict lands in your queue with the reason, and you make the call.
When a judge has earned it, you can let it act on its own - but only above a confidence you set, and only because you turned it on. Autonomy is something each judge earns, never the default.
Lands in your queue with the full reason. The default for every new judge.
Auto-delete or a short timeout, only above a confidence you set.
Timeout or ban with no human step. Opt-in per judge, once it's earned your trust.
It always shows its work
Every verdict carries the rule it matched, a plain-English reason and a confidence score, all kept in the audit trail. A flagged regular can see exactly why. No black box, no silent bans.
Earn trust before you go live
New judges run in shadow mode first: they watch your real chat and post verdicts to your dashboard without touching anyone. Once a judge is consistently calling it right, you flip it live.
You can also replay a judge against a past VOD to see how it would have ruled, before it ever runs on a live audience.
It fails open
A broken judge never bans. If a judge errors, it records a verdict with no ruling and the action is skipped. A glitch can't take out a real fan. Fail-closed is there if you want it, but it's opt-in.
Moderation is step one
The same engine that reads your stream to moderate it is the foundation for what's next: a live summary your viewers can ask about, answers to your FAQ and merch questions, and the hype moments worth clipping, surfaced after the stream. That's where ModCheck is heading.
