1. What ModCheck is
ModCheck is an AI-powered, context-aware moderation service for Twitch chat, operated by Tiny Corp ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using ModCheck you agree to these terms.
ModCheck analyzes chat messages in your channel in real time against moderation rules ("Judges") that you write in plain English, and surfaces or takes the actions you configure.
2. Accounts
- You sign in with your Twitch account. You must be the owner of that account and comply with Twitch's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using ModCheck.
- You can invite moderators to your channel's dashboard. You're responsible for who you grant access and for what they do with it.
- You're responsible for keeping access to your Twitch account secure. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- ModCheck is a paid subscription. Plans differ in how many judges can run at once and how many messages are judged each month; current pricing is shown on our homepage.
- Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then at no cost.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your channel page; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- We may change pricing or plan limits. If we do, we'll give you notice before it affects an existing subscription.
4. How moderation works
Important things to understand about the service:
- AI is not perfect. ModCheck may miss messages that should be flagged or flag messages that shouldn't be. It's a tool to assist moderators, not replace them.
- You control the rules. You decide what your judges look for and what actions are taken. Moderation actions in your channel - whether taken by ModCheck on your configuration or by your human mods - remain your responsibility.
- Fail-open by default. If a judge errors, ModCheck skips it rather than silently actioning viewers. We don't guarantee every message gets evaluated.
- Audit trail. ModCheck keeps a record of evaluated messages and per-judge verdicts so you and your mods can always see why something was actioned. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ModCheck to harass, discriminate against, or target individuals or groups.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the AI system.
- Use the service in a way that violates Twitch's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
- Resell, redistribute, or white-label ModCheck without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual property
ModCheck, its branding, and its underlying technology are owned by us. Your moderation rules, examples and configurations belong to you.
7. Limitation of liability
ModCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We're not liable for moderation decisions made (or missed) by the AI.
- We're not liable for any damages resulting from service downtime, bugs, or data loss.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in the app. Continued use of ModCheck after changes constitutes acceptance.
